Hotel Residenz Passau 4 Sterne

The afternoon tea and cake offered was a good touch, and the river view from our room was amazing.

While I appreciated the modern amenities, the bathroom felt a bit cramped for comfort .

Enjoyed the way our double room with patio was arranged. We were in a marvellous and stunning location short walk to the next bridge up past the Rathaus called Zum Alten Braeuhaus, and the library for tea and cake. It also was right by the river.

Facilities were wonderful, yet Wi-Fi was terrible.

Our hotel was in a perfect location near the next bridge up past the Rathaus called Zum Alten Braeuhaus. Further, it was adjacent to the lit castle, Passau overlooking Danube and Donau river...

The breakfast was AMAZING, with an extensive selection of fresh pastries and homemade preserves! Loved the view of the Danube from the room. Only downside was the bathroom size, a bit cramped for my taste 😊

The breakfast was plentiful at 5.45, good food. The employees were fabulously helpful and attentive and offered outstanding services. Central location so close to a lovely restaurant up past the Rathaus called Zum Alten Braeuhaus which seemed to be a real locals place, and which can be challenging to drive around, it was in an extremely comfortable area. Again, the hotel was set within a close distance from a baroque Catholic cathedral.

The rooms are gorgeous, airy, and come with a safe box, multi-channel television and a mini fridge bar.

We had a lovely room with a great view! The breakfast buffet was something else, they had fresh juices and even.

It wasn't cheap, but still totally fine.

The room deoderizer in the bathroom was very overpowering so we placed it out in the hallway.

The staff was very helpful and the room wonderful

The only problem was the noise from the street until 3 am during Kunst Nacht.

Fine river views enhance the stay.

The parking situation was unacceptable. All spots were taken, leaving us frustrated. We had to park quite a distance away, straining our experience from the start. The fact that the reception closed at 11 PM left us feeling anxious about accessing our room later in the evening.

The breakfast selection featured many local and homemade products that impressed me. The staff provided approachable communication, ensuring a cute start to my day. I loved the cozy sitting area near the reception, made for a pleasant gathering space. The enchanting views over the river Danube added a beautiful touch to my experience.

While my stay was enjoyable, I found the parking options somewhat limited, which could be challenging for families.

Very spacious Comfort Room with a nice river view. Enjoyed the cozy seating area and great amenities like air conditioning, tea/coffee maker, and a well-stocked minibar. The bathroom was modern with free toiletries and a nice bathtub. Breakfast was the highlight with fresh fruits and homemade jams. A relaxing atmosphere.
